Packin’ Up and Shippin’ Off

16 Jun

How do we know we’re getting so close to the games?

Our office is a sea of uniforms, boxes and bags.

Yes, with the games less than 4 weeks away, we’ve spent the past 2 days packing all our bags so they can be shipped off to the athletes and coaches ahead of their travel to London. AND: we’re still at it!

So far we’ve packed 239 bags with 6 items each,  including 956 t-shirts!  It took 5 of our staff members 2 days to pack it all up in the right bags and make sure that everyone is getting what they need.

Phew!

Thanks for getting the uniforms, clothing, and luggage organized. Big Job. Also a few minor glitches but not many. Lets just pray we do not like have any luggage lost or problems at airport. In 2004 in Toronto, they Air Canada was not sure we would be able to get all the luggage into luggage hold for trip from Toronto to Moncton, NB. We did manage but were delayed an extra hour. So what we all still had fun, even with the snowstorm to come. Thanks Greg for the 4X$ to rescue some athletes so we could get back to hotel! Mission was excellent then, again when I went in 2006, and will be in 2010! Love the Softball jerseys’s. I am numbee 3 Just like afmed NY Yankees Babe Ruth, and Alex Rodriguez. Not my favorite players but some famous number 3′s. I have been training hard and misson staff, coaches, other teamamates, family, and fans will be proud of me.
